Design

The 2018 Civic sedan has been designed with a sharp, sleek look with a comfortable and capable interior. The 174-horsepower turbocharged engine gives you the power of a performance vehicle in a sedan. The Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVT) were optimized to match each engine to provide plenty of power without sacrificing fuel efficiency.

The interior layout has been arranged to keep everything within your reach, so you can focus on the scenery flying by. A single-level dashboard display consolidates all the information you need at a glance and heated leather or cloth seats provide the most luxurious ride for all five passengers.

Technology

The Civic Sedan has become one of the most technologically advanced Civics ever! Get the full picture of what is around you with the multi-angle rearview camera. The system offers three different views: normal, top-down, and wide. In addition to the rearview, the side LaneWatch™ cameras display a side view when using your turn signals. The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ makes sure you know how to get to wherever you want to go.

Reduce the number of messy cords with the wireless charging mat for your smartphone or plug into the USB charging port to connect your audio interface while you charge. Of course, you could also connect your device through Bluetooth. Once you are linked, there are even more options! Connect through Apple CarPlay™ or Android Auto™ to control your phone through the built-in display touch-screen.

Accident Avoidance

Safety has always been an essential aspect of every Honda, but the Civic sedan takes it a step further. A series of sensors and systems help you identify and avoid dangers. Collision Mitigation Braking Systems™ applies brake pressure when an unavoidable frontal collision is detected, helping you come to an unexpected stop. Road Departure Mitigation System helps you adjust steering and braking if you cross detection and are heading off the road. Adaptive Cruise Control with low-speed follow senses the vehicle in front of you and adjusts your cruise control to match their speed when traffic slows. Lastly, there is the Lane Keeping Assist System that keeps your vehicle in the center of your detected lane to avoid unintentional swerving. All these systems work in unison to keep you safe by preventing accidents altogether.
